K1 is built privacy-first. This page explains, plainly, what we collect, why, and the control you have. If anything here is unclear, email hello@dilinx.com.
What we collect
- Your email — when you join the waitlist or create an account, so we can set up and contact you about your assistant.
- Your conversations — the messages between you and your assistant, so it can remember context and be useful across chats. These live in your own database, isolated from other users.
- Connected accounts (optional) — if you connect Google, we store a read-only access token for Gmail and Calendar. We can read and summarize; we cannot send, reply, or change anything.
- Basic usage — message counts and last-seen time, to run the service and send you occasional recaps.
What we never do
- We never sell your data.
- We never use your conversations or email to train any AI model.
- We never write to, send from, or modify your email or calendar. Access is strictly read-only.
The public demo
The "try it" demo on our homepage is ephemeral — messages are held only in memory to answer you and are not stored or associated with any identity.
Where your data lives
Your assistant runs on a private server with its own per-user database. The AI model is a local, open model — your conversations are processed on our own infrastructure, not sent to a third-party AI provider.
Cookies & analytics
We use a small number of strictly-functional cookies (a sign-in session cookie, a demo session cookie, and a CSRF token during account connection). On our public marketing pages we use Google Analytics to understand traffic and how people find us — this is standard website analytics and is entirely separate from your assistant. Your conversations, email, and calendar are never sent to Google Analytics or any advertiser. We run no advertising cookies.
Your control
- Disconnect Gmail/Calendar anytime from your dashboard — the token is deleted immediately.
- Delete everything — request account deletion and we remove your account and its database.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we'll let account holders know by email.
